What a busy few weeks

It all started with Christmas. I had lots of presents and I was very happy with what Father Christmas brought to me. I had such a big list of things that I spent days after Christmas signing all my thank you cards. Actually I'm really enjoying learning to write and I can read a few words as well. Just after Christmas I was playing in my room when I said to Daddy 'when will I be able to read?'. I'm trying hard every day to learn new words and I'm beginning to be able to tell the time as well. It is all so exciting.

At the beginning of the year I decided I wanted my bedroom to be different. I decided it was going to be painted orange and that I was going to have pictures of all the planets on the ceiling. I also wanted pictures of the sea at the bottom of the walls. Well, after going to lots of shops Mummy and Daddy managed to find me some really good dolphin pictures that go all around my wall. And Daddy painted planets and some stars on my ceiling. I've also got new furniture and I even have my own computer. Sometimes in the mornings when Daddy is in the shower I am using my computer to play games or to do puzzles or some of the learning programs. It is really good fun and I use the computer a lot at nursery as well.

Nursery is really good now. I am in the top group, called Snowy Owls, because that's the group you go into before you go to school. Every Monday I have to draw a picture and write my news from the weekend. The other week I did a picture of me painting my bedroom.

The other week I went to the optician with my Daddy. I had my eyes tested and they are OK. I got a lollipop for being so good. When I went to the dentist the other day they didn't have lollipops but I got a big juicy apple for showing them how well I brush my own teeth.

I'm eating quite a lot lately and I have grown quite a bit. I'm now 104cm and I weigh nearly three stones.

Now I've got big bit of really, really exciting news...I am going to Disneyland Paris in the summer. Mummy and Daddy have booked it as a special treat and we are going on a big train that goes under the water. Wow! That will be really exciting.

I'm really enjoying going out and about and I love the theatre. I saw my favourite people from the TV, called Hi 5, live on stage in Oxford. They were great. And I saw my cousin Louisa in a show she did with her dancing class. It was a really good show and Louisa was brilliant as a witch!

Anyway, I have to go now because my bedroom needs tidying up quite a bit.
