I had a great time at Disneyland Paris

Elliot with Pluto

This is me with Pluto at Disneyland Paris. I went there a few weeks ago with Mummy and Daddy and I had a really super time. We had five days there and we stayed at the New York Hotel right in the Disney Village. It was fantastic. I met all of my favourite Disney characters and had some brilliant rides. My favourite was called 'It's a small world'. I also liked the teacups ride. I loved Disneyland so much that Mummy and Daddy said I could go back again. We went to Paris on the Eurostar train which was really exciting - especially in the tunnel under the water.

I also had a trip to Dublin recently. It was my first ever time on an aeroplane and I just loved it. It was such good fun looking out of the windows and seeing all the little houses down below. I had a ride on an open top bus and we went to Dublin Zoo where I laughed a lot because I saw a gorilla doing a wee-wee.

I also had a trip to Grandma Kath's house and I spent the afternoon at Diggerland. I drove lots of different diggers and we had a ride on a dumper truck.

Grandad Bryon came to the caravan with me last weekend and we went to see the Bognor Birdman competition. That's where people dress up as birds and aeroplanes and jump off the pier to see how far they can fly. It is very funny.

I also went to a living museum where I saw things being printed in the way they were done in 1920. And I went on an old fashioned bus and saw some very old things. It has made me realise that I really like knowing about history. I've asked Daddy to get me a book about history. I know about Roman roads now - they are long and straight.

One other important thing has happened in the last couple of weeks. I have been having my introduction to school. I start school in September and I have now met my teacher, Mrs Henderson, and I have had two sessions at school already. It is brilliant and I like it more than nursery because it is really good and there is lots of things to learn. I am really looking forward to starting school - I can't wait.
