I've started school

I have just started school and I love it. I have a uniform that I wear, which is a red polo shirt and grey trousers. I have my school bag with my school logo on it and I carry my snack, my jumper and my homework in my bag. I love doing homework, it's great fun reading the books with Mummy and Daddy.

I go to breakfast club before school and after school I go to 'After School Club'. That's really good and the other day I had my face painted as Spiderman.

In school my teacher is called Mrs Henderson and she is really nice. The other day she said I was so good I had to go and see the Head Teacher, Mrs Barke. I was sent to her office to show her my 'maths skills book' and she got out a special stamp of a rosette. She stamped my book, said I was fantastic and wrote my name in the school's 'Good News Book'. I was very proud of that and I keep telling everyone about it.

My classroom is brand new and we are the first children ever to use it as it was only built in the summer. It's really good. We do reading, mathematics, arts and crafts and playing in there.

I like school much more than I thought I would and I'm really happy there.
