I'm really proud today

Today I am really proud of myself. Firstly, there is a lovely picture of me in the Reading Chronicle, our local newspaper. I am in a special section all about children starting school for the first time. I'm in the picture with my friends Eleanor, Aline, Hazel and Oliver. I've got a really big smile on my face.

The other reason I'm so proud is that I was chosen to be the narrator of a little play we did at school yesterday. I had to tell the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff, while the rest of my friends played the parts of the goats and the troll. Everyone in Year 1 watched us and they all clapped at the end. It was really good fun.
