My Dad couldn't get down because he had to do work. In that week I played with my friend Jack and played with my other friends Rhys and Owen. Because we had a shop at the site most mornings I cycled up there with Jack and sometimes his little sister Charlotte. We bought the papers and sometimes we were allowed to have excess money and we could go into the clubhouse to spend that excess money on, say, crane machines or driving games.

And the mornings I didn't get the papers with Jack and Charlotte I went swimming with my Mum in the pool. While the park was closed in the winter they made the hall which normally leads to the swimming pool and the clubhouse into a whole load more of changing rooms which are good because the changing rooms you go in one side and out the other and it's good because there's two locks that go down but you only have to close both doors and you pull down one because they are both connected. I think they are connected by a simple bar going to one from another.

One afternoon I visited Halfords in Bognor which is near my caravan because we are in Pagham and while we were there because my bike at the caravan was rusty in most parts like the chain and all the bolts we bought a new bike. My new bike had front and rear suspension and 12 gears but you can only go up to 6th gear.

Another morning after we had been swimming I went down to Runcton garden centre which is also near my caravan. We looked at the plants because last year our plant tubs had been nicked and Mummy said I could buy a little toy which was a jack in the box.

I'm going to Windsor on a school trip

Today I'm going on a school trip to Windsor. For lunch we are going to Pizza Hut. We are going on the Long Walk, seeing the riverside train station, seeing the Castle, seeing the crooked cottages and going to the shops. I'm looking forward to it. We will be put into groups of six and in a mixture of the classes who are going which are Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5. That's all for now.

PS. I'll update you tomorrow or by the end of the week on how the school trip went. The Christmas presents I had (the ones I can remember) were: Matchbox Mega Rig Sharks, two giant chocolate bars, a racing car game and Simpsons pyjamas. For my birthday I got: three new Nintendo DS games, a new dressing gown, lots of birthday cards and loads more presents.

Now I'm doing lots of clubs at school. They are: football club, art club, gym club, story reading club and chess club. I'm also doing swimming in school hours.

And we are going to have two new neighbours because my next door neighbour and another neighbour is moving house. My next door neighbour is moving just over the road (nearly literally) into a new house development called The Fallows and they are being built by George Wimpey. George Wimpey have been working since March 2007 and are putting 120 buildings.

That's all for now - the latest news from Elliot Jones.

PS. In them two weeks Daddy had to do two radio interviews. One when Mummy, me, Daddy and Grandad were together and before Daddy was interviewed the first time we had lunch in the Santa Fe restaurant. And then we met together again by the Nike shop in Gunwharf Quays which is where we had lunch while Daddy had his interview. And Daddy bought me some three quarter length white Nike trousers for being good in the first week. We might have gone up the Spinnaker Tower but Daddy said we couldn't. For starters it was too windy and it was swaying about and there was a queue of about 130 people trying to get in. The next time Daddy was interviewed Mummy wasn't there so I had to go with Daddy and we brunged some games for me to play with. And then for being good in that and the man who was looking after me said I was good so Daddy bought me some brown Nike trousers from the Nike shop for being good. That's all from my caravan that I'm going to give you.

After I went to my caravan I went to Jubilee Jets holiday club which is where Mummy and Daddy take me to have fun while Mummy and Daddy work. I go on the quad bikes, I go on the trampoline, I go on my bike, I go on the bouncy castle that Jubilee owns, I go in the sand pit and trust me on this the diameter from the side to side is about three metres and the length is about ten metres and there's gallons of sand. And then I kept going there for about three weeks and I only had one week left of my holidays so we had Aldermaston village show which is where the village gets together to do a show and my Mummy is one of my school governors which is Aldermaston CE Primary School. So we put up a stall with my Daddy's new £100 display set and all of the children the whole school had done loads of work but our school git flooded so all the work that was done was wet and ruined. So the head teacher sent out some letters saying to all of the mummies and daddies can you ask your children to draw some pictures or write any poems or something like that because all our school work was lost in the flood. So I did a piece and Maisie in my class did a piece here sister Phoebe did a piece and Lucy did a piece in my class and her little brother Alexander did a piece and that's all I can think of and we have like module units my Mummy calls them being delivered because Peter Oldridge the organiser of the show went up in an airoplane the day the module units were delivered because the school was washed through with mankie water and that's why we have the module units. He had bird's eye view picture so right overhead. They take up the whole playground which is 100 metres by 100 metres and that's only for three classes. We got ground pictures of the crane and the day after we have a big open space next to our house and it's green and we call it The Green cos it's got grass and conker trees and we have lots of children who live around the area near the green and we all collect conkers but some of the bigger ones don't. And that's the end of my summer holidays.

Flood..!!!! The whole school was flooded. Water was up to my knees. The fire and rescue service had to take us by boat to the other side of the village on the hill and our motor was four men. The water was up to their tummy where you come out of school by the gates.

We then went to the village hall and we had to say our names to one of the office people and a policeman. They wrote our name down. I got collected by my friend Lucy's mummy.

My mummy and daddy were stuck in the floods. Mummy had to stay in Reading overnight with a friend from work. Daddy had to abandon his car while my friend Lucy's mum took me to my friend Teo's house. It's got a few quite good features. The first one is there's like well it looks like a cupboard but when try to pull the cupboard open it slides out like an enormous drawer. The next feature is a cupboard in which is a bin and when you open the cupboard the bin swings out from its lid because the bin is attached to the door and the lid is attached the side of the cupboard but not the door. The new caravan has double glazing, central heating and one door that I don't like. I don't like it because I would rather have two doors like the old caravan. The new caravan is second hand. And because it's second hand there is a little bit of damage on it. The first bit of damage is on the right hand side of the front and is a broken gutter corner but that is going to be fixed. The second bit of damage is the thing that keeps the door open is snapped off. So that will be fixed as well.

Have I broken the school record?

I think I have broken the school house point record because this week in one afternoon I have received 15 house points, I got 5 for science, because we had to do this sheet and find 6 ways to make a little toy car move. Everybody first wrote down push in one box, pull in the other box and spin in the next box and some people like me could blow it so we wrote that in the next box and that made us have 4 but we had to have ways to make the car move. Then Mrs Burridge my teacher said if anyone can be a super scientist and find 2 more ideas to make the car move then for one idea you will get 5 house points and for the other idea exactly the same, 5 house points. I was working really hard trying to come up with new ideas to make the car move then I put the car on my arm and made it slpe down so the car rolled down my arm, then I went to show my teacher and she said 'Children, STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN'. After we were quiet she said Elliot has found the first super scientist idea, she said it was putting your little car on your arm and making your arm like a slope and letting go of your car and you will find your car will move down. Then the whole class wrote in the fifth box slope. Then we all went back to experimenting. Then I tried dropping the car and a few other experiments, I found these did not work so well, but the drop did, so I went up to Mrs Burridge and told her I'd found another one, I showed her dropping the car. Then she stopped the class again and said Elliot has found the second super scientist idea, dropping. My friends were amazed, so they wrote down my idea which was dropping your car. Then I showed my sheet to my teacher and she said I could have 10 house points as I had found both super scientist ideas. The other housepoints were for bits and bobs over the afternoon totalled 5 making a total of 15 house points.

Bye bye computer!

I am selling my computer because I don't like it. Daddy I said I might get £100 for it.

Lately I have been tidying up my bedroom. I have a had a big clear out and I have thrown away most of my books. I had three shelves of books now there are only two.. Because I have had such a big clear out I have got two shelves empty. I am planning soon to tidy up my games cupboard. In my games cupboard I used to have lots of little cars, most of them were Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. I have only got ten Hot Wheels cars left. I have moved some of my furniture around and bought a canvas wardrobe. Next to my bed I used to have a pine box full of cuddly toys. Now it is by my drawers of clothes. And I used to have some pine drawers as well. I can't remember where the pine drawers but now they are in front of my pine box in my bedroom near my clothes drawers. Also I sorted out one of my cupboards, not the games cupboard. That other cupboard used to have a train track in. We put in the garage because I had had it for a long time and I were getting a little too old for it and part of it was cracked. So I put that in the garage along with all the other stuff I had in there including a big box full of Playmobil. In there now I have some shelves in there and all my birthday and Christmas games and toys. For Christmas I got four selection boxes and I have a giant sack of presents from my Mum and Dad. By the way, me and my Mum and Dad haven't even got our Christmas tree up yet and all our decorations but we're doing them today the 17th of December.

My birthday

On Friday the 24th November it was my 7th birthday. But I had some friends there from before because they were owners like me and my Mummy and Daddy. The first few days with my Mummy my Mum pottered around in the caravan and I played with my friends Reyes and Owen. Then on the 4th August my Daddy came down and on the night of the 4th August we gave Daddy a treat for his first night at the caravan and the treat was to eat in the complex. The next day we went shopping in Bognor for Mummy's birthday present. I bought her a gooey foot massager. The next day we went to my Auntie Jela's 50th birthday party in her garden. And it was brilliant. The next day we went to the Isle of Wight on the hovercraft. First on the Isle of Wight we got off the hovercraft and we walked over the raliway bridge then me and Mummy tried to find the toilets while Daddy bought a disposable camere for me. At first me and Mummy couldn't find the toilets so we waited for Daddy at the shop he went into to get the disposable camera and then we all found some toilets nearby. And then we waited for a bus that took us on a tour all over the Isle of Wight. We got off the bus at Amazon World. Amazon World is animals from the Amazon rain forest. And then after we had looked at all the amazing animals we walked out of Amazon World to go into the shop of Amazon World then we went to the toilets. After that I went on the adventure playground there. After that we caught the bus that took us on another tour and on the way we were going up a steep hill and the driver was a bit funny and he said "is there any volunteers to get out and help me push". And all the kids said "YES". On the way down the hill there was a conker tree and because were on the top of the bus and it was open top and there was a massive conker hanging on the conker tree and it was really spiky and it me just on the forehead. Then we went to have lunch at a posh hotel. And the hotel's name was the Yelf's Hotel. Then Daddy and me walked into a wallet shop to get me a new wallet because I lost my other wallet. Luckily no money was inside it. So we had to try and find a new one and not any wallet in there were the right size for my pocket so we coudln't buy any there. Then we walked down the hill to some souvenir shops and we looked in there and I couldn't find anything for a souvenir but I found one thing that was a fridge magnet and it was a hovercraft. After we had been in the souvenir shop we walked back to the hovercraft and then we all went to use the toilet. Then we got on the hovercraft and went back to Southsea and while we were at Southsea we had a go on pirate crazy golf. It was brilliant. After that we went on a few games then we walked back to the car and we drove off trying to find a place to have dinner cos we had no dinner at home. Eventually we found a place called the Selsey Tram. There was a coincidence with the pirate crazy golf and the kid's menu at the Selsey Tram becuase the kid's menu was a pirate's menu and the pirate crazy golf. So me and my Daddy thought it was a very funny coincidence. Then we went back to the carava. By that time it was nine o'clock so I had to go to bed. But before I went to bed I could go and see the lights in Bognor. The next day Daddy was working in London so Mummy pottered around so I could play with my friends Reyse and Owen. In the afternoon I went to see a display for the RNLI at Pagham Yacht Club. And it included the India Juliette the rescue helicopter. And I went with my friends Reyse and Owen and their mum Gloria and my mum Cathy because India Juliette is the rescue coastguard helicopter in the TV programme Seaside Rescue and I watch Seaside Rescue but I really wanted to see the coastguard helicopter India Juliette with my own eyes so that's why I went. Late at night Daddy came home then he went to bed. The next day we went to finish Mummy's birthday shopping. In the afternoon I had to go to my friend's birthday party cos his birthday was the same day as my Mummy's so there was a kid's party at 12 o'clock to one. After that me and my friend Reyse we went down to do this new thing at the complex it was called circus acts. And my Daddy gave me three pounds to buy some juggling balls at the end. Then me and Reyse walked back to our caravans from the complex. Then in the evening there was a party for my Mummy and my friend Owen. It was brilliant. Reyse and Owen invited two lifeguards Samantha and Gary. After we had eaten we popped 50 party poppers and then for a birthday treat for Owen and his brother Reyse and me my Daddy drove us all to see Bognor lights. The next day it was my Mummy's birthday. After I had given Mummy's birthday presents to her Mummy and me went out for a swim at the complex. After that I made a new friend called Sam that was visting Church Farm Holiday Village where my caravan is. I played with him for a little while and then I said "bye bye I'll see you in half an hour". While I was playing with my new friend Sam my Daddy was loading up his car to go home with me and my Mummy was loading up her car to go home on her own. Then Reyse and Owen came round, Owen opened his present from me and my Mummy and Daddy. Then my Mummy opened her present from Reyse, Owen and Gloria. After that we had some birthday cake and everybody thought it was yummy. Then I went to my friend Sam and said "bye bye" and then I jumped in my Dad's car and set off home. Twenty minutes later my Mum set off home. And that was the end of my holiday.

My Daddy went to the United States of America

Eight days ago my Daddy, Graham Jones, went to the USA. I will tell you the story of how it fell out. Well, at breaktime play in the morning I were running around with my really, really wobbly front tooth and then I bashed into a wall and it came very very very very very very wobbly. And then at the end of play I got pushed into a door as all the other children came in. And then it got really really really really really really really really really really really wobbly. And then as I came in I skidded on the carpet and I hit my chin on it. And then as I were doing maths I accidentally wobbled and hit my chin on the carpet again and then my really really really really really really really really wobbly tooth came out. And that was in the middle of maths. And I put my hand up and said "my tooth came out" and Laura who is helping now in our class she helped me stick it on to a piece of orange card and then I put it in my bag.

New things in my house

Recently I have had loads of new things in my house. We've had new guttering, new soffits and new windows.

My Grandad Lew has been in hospital two times cos he has collapsed two times. He is very poorly now. And new white guttering.

The last bits of term and half term

Just on the last week of term I went to the clown's week at After School Club. I didn't go on Friday because it was the last day of the half term. And I went home with my Mummy and Daddy and on that same day Daddy had got a new CD player in his car and we waited for Kim to arrive at After School Club because it was her last day she was going to work at After School Club. And Daddy was trying to work out how to put the new CD player on. And he couldn't figure it out. And Daddy is the Chairman of After School Club and he had bought a present for Kim and we went in and we waited for Kim to arrive after Daddy had figured out how to switch the new CD player on. Then we went in and Daddy brought the present for Kim and Kim arrived five minutes later and Kim was delighted for Daddy's present.

I have joined the Little Puma's Tai Kwan Do Club. For the first two weeks I went in weekend clothes and we didn't have to pay anything. And on the last week of my weekend clothes at Tai Kwan Do Daddy had to fill in this form for me and the next week I came in weekend clothes but the teacher, Jason, of Tai Kwan Do, he gave me my Tai Kwan Do suit. And I had to go and get changed again in the boy's changing room and I were white belt and the Tai Kwan Do Club is at the Hurst School in Tadley and I'm a Little Puma.

And on the Sunday at the start of half term I went to see Paul and Barry Chuckle in Oxford in a show. And it was heaving. And I saw my friend Lucy there and they watched the Wizard of Oz at Christmas like we did. And Lucy was watching The Chuckle Brothers as well. And they were squirting water and luckily we didn't get wet but Lucy and her Mummy and Daddy and baby brother got wet. And we could not get a flasher or a Paul and Barry Chuckle T-shirt that had their faces on and their names. But I enjoyed the show and I laughed a lot.

On the very start of half term on Saturday I had my eyes tested at Specsavers and the time was 10.50 and my eyes were fine and it was quite fun in there and I had this nice man called Ziggy and he did the fun bit of the eye test and it was quite funny because as I just came out the machine eye test room then Ziggy did the fun bit of the eye test. He just called me when I just got out a book and was on the first page and I had to go upstairs to the room where you had the fun bit of the eye test.

My good turm

I had nine haoose poins.
